The short version

Cancel during the free trial and pay nothing. After that, cancel any time and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. A period already started is not refunded, except where we charged you by mistake or the Service was down on our side.

Cancelling

  • Cancel any time from Plans & billing in the app, through Manage billing. No need to email us.
  • During your free trial: cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged at all.
  • On a paid plan: your plan stays active until the end of the term you have paid for (the month, three months, six months or the year), then stops. You will not be charged again.
  • Changed your mind? Resume before the end of the period from the same place, or start a new plan later.

What happens to your account

When a plan ends, nothing is deleted: your matches, reads and check-ins stay, and read packs you bought stay usable. Without a plan you cannot ask for new reads or add matches until you start one again.

Refunds

  • Monthly payments cover the month ahead and are not refunded for a partly used month. Cancelling stops the next payment.
  • Terms paid ahead (three months, six months or a year): within 14 days of the first charge for that term, if you have used fewer than 20 reads, we refund it in full on request. After that the term is not refunded, but it runs to its end.
  • Charged by mistake? If you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, forgot to cancel your trial and have not used Courtship AI since it ended, or did not mean to buy a pack and have not used it, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full.
  • Service problems: if a fault on our side stopped you using Courtship AI for a significant part of a month, tell us and we will refund or credit that time.
  • Read packs, Date Prep passes and Profile Makeovers are not refundable once used. A read that fails on our side is never counted.
  • Refunds go back to the card you paid with, normally within 5 to 10 business days.

If the law where you live gives you further rights to cancel or get a refund, nothing in this policy limits them.
